Booking terms for Herranterttu Holiday Apartments

These terms will be binding for both parties as soon as the client has made a booking.

Booking and payments

A booking is confirmed once the deposit, approximately 30% of the total amount, has been paid by the due date.
The remaining amount is due one month before the start date of the stay.
Payment methods are bank transfer or PayPal. Credit card payments must be made using PayPal.

Cancelling a booking

Not paying is not a cancellation. Herranterttu Holiday Apartments has the right to cancel a booking if payment has not been made by the due date.
Cancellation is valid from the time Herranterttu Holiday Apartments has received a written notice of the cancellation.
If a booking is cancelled at least 30 days before the start date of the stay, the entire rent amount with the deposit deducted will be refunded.
If a booking is cancelled less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, the entire rent amount will be charged.

Please check the applicability of your travel insurance for cancellations.

Bed linen and towels

Bed linen and towels are not included in the base price of the rental. You can bring your own or order them as you make your reservation for €15/person.

Final cleaning

Final cleaning is included in the price for reservations that last at least one full week. For shorter stays, you can clean the apartment yourself or order a cleaning service from the maintenance company.
The apartments are equipped with a basic supply of kitchen towels, toilet paper and cleaning supplies.

Keys

The keys to the apartment can be found in a key box next to the front door. You will find the code to open the box in your booking confirmation. There is another key inside the apartment. The keys must be returned to the same places as you leave. The person who made the booking is responsible for the keys. It’s practical to keep one key in the key box throughout your stay.

Firewood

Firewood is included in the price.

Wi-Fi

The apartments have free Wi-Fi.

Staying in the apartment

The holiday apartment can be used from 16:00 on the arrival date to 12:00 (noon) on the departure date. Exceptional hours can be negotiated separately.
We have done our best to offer you a cosy, beautiful, and clean home. We expect you to leave it as you found it. If you move the furniture around, please put it back before you leave. Take the rubbish out as you leave and wash all the dishes you have used.
You can find cleaning supplies that you can use in the cleaning supply closet in the hall.
It is mandatory to use linen. Please don’t use sleeping bags. If you didn’t bring any linen with you, you can call the maintenance company and they will bring you linen for €15/person.

Damages, shortages, and complaints

Any complaints regarding the apartment’s equipment and condition must be pointed out to the maintenance company already during your stay, so that they can be fixed immediately if possible. The client is liable to notify of any damages he or she has caused the apartment or the property in it, and he or she is also liable to compensate for them fully.

Pets

If you are planning on bringing pets with you, please let us know beforehand. No pets are allowed in the Lapinhelmi apartment.
